52Q - backtracking (week1 to week3)

52Q - week22 to week24
here's another lot... I thoroughly enjoyed pondering over the questions, and playing around with my scrap supplies... happy to be able to use the stash (but cant seem to finish any of them - i.e. I have too much : P)
I discovered the "secret formula" to getting this done on time!!! I broke up the process into smaller steps spacced out over the week: Sunday I copied the question on my iPhone and started thinking about my answers. Monday I picked out the base 4x6 cards from the lot that I have already cut up (from K&Company Cut N Paste paper pad). Tuesday I stamped. Wednesday I adhered the alphas. Thursday I stuck the paper tapes and stitched. Friday I wrote the journaling and added finishing touches... and I'm ready to take pictures and post on Facebook (actually I should make it a point to post here as well : P)!

52Q - week19 to week21
here's what I have been up to... one card a week... sometimes I slacked and fell behind; sometimes I caught up and stayed on time. I am extremely happy to be part of this... I am trying out a new way of scrapping... without photos and using sccraps and arranging the elements in a haphazard way... and it feels liberating!!!

To-Do List
I am participating in a scrapping project entitled "52Q". Every week, the host E will post a question and the participants will create a postcard / ATC / whatever that shows the question as well as their answer... we got the idea from Emily Falconbridge's 52Q challenge.
It's such an awesome experience!!! We touch base with fellow scrappers; we share ideas and techniques... the questions prompt us to ponder over stuffs about ourselves... we dug our our scrapbooking stash and USE them (especially the scraps)... we try out techniques on a small scale and experiment... it's a great excuse to create some art - for art washes away the dust of everyday life!... and it prompts us how much time has passed and reminds us to seize the day!!!
This week's question is "What is on your to-do list this week?"... I am still working on it... thinking of the answer... yup, I discipline myself to think of the answer, before I allow myself to play with the creation of the postcards... will post pictures once I am done!

I Play Cheat Again!

SC is having Iced Mocha Blended and Tuna Mayo Sandwich at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for lunch-cum-dinner... and worring about the loony (spelling error.. should be loong!) night ahead...

SC needs anger management again! She gets impatient with people who beats around the bush and tries to explain their action and gives every detailo that lead to the situation on hand... All she needs is the answer to a very simple question "what is that thing?"... Aaaargh!!!!

SC discovered the Cash Converters at Admiralty MRT station last night!!!! Lots of junk but one can still find treasures if you look hard enough... got a set of brush markers for $2 only... and the colours are still juicy... so happy... so "cheap thrill"...

SC's cheeks are still aching from laughing too much n too hard... Life is good when one is in the company of friends who make one feels totally at ease!!!

SC is a "loan shark" today... Calling people to remind them to make payment for the workshops to confirm their seats... Especially those workshops with waiting list... Aiyoh!!!

SC receives 2 pieces of shocking news this morning... she thinks she can still take the 3rd piece... Just give it to her!!!

SC has developed a soft spot for anything with white puffy cloud motifs... You can sell her anything with white puffy clouds, she'll willingly fork out the money!!! Jia lat!!!

SC is listening to Lee Ann Womack's I Hope You Dance and thinking of all her friends who are going through some rough patches in life now... You are all in my thoughts today : )

SC's car couldn't start just now!!! The batteryn engine icons kept flashing!!! Lucky a kind helpful man offered to help her jumpstart the car battery (with the big thick wires)... But it didn't work!?!?! He got into the driver's seat to try again, n realised acctually SC forgot to put the gear to P mode when she parked earlier on!!! She is one big sotong lah!!!

SC is definitely losing it!!! Her brain, that is. She is at home (Sembawang) n she called E (who stays in Yishun) to say she'll give her a lift to Jalan Pemimpin later... when her car is nicely parked at Plaza Sing!!! What is wrong with her???

SC received an email from Lei's Chinese laoshi... Next week oral exams; must practise reading passages in textbook n practise picture description n practise conversation over the weekends... during our time, where got such stress???

SC's son just announced that he loves his "Toady" (a hideous looking stuffed toad) very much n he thinkgs of it a lot when he is in school n he wants to marry "Toady"!!! She cant imagine what it'll be like when he falls in love with a girl next time!!??!!
